For the first time in thirty years, a door to the world dungeon has opened, and an unlikely diver has entered it. Even Phineas Lenville is surprised that it’s him.
He can only imagine what the beautiful Grace and the stunning Alina will say. If he can find his way out and back to them.
Outside the dungeon, the town’s protective barrier is failing. Without it, they’ll be at the mercy of the monsters from the surrounding wilderness. But the technology found within the expansive world behind the dungeon door could save them. Assuming Phin can survive the hazards to access it.
Meanwhile, the mayor and his lackeys are still set on gaining total control of the town by any means necessary. Once he becomes aware of the dungeon portal, the mayor tries to seize access, with the help of another new addition to the town. One from Phin’s past.
The clock is ticking. The time for action is now.
Phin needs to become something he has only ever dreamed of. A masterful diver capable of wresting the secrets from the mysterious world that is the dungeon. With the help of those he now considers family, he might be able to save the town not only from the encroaching monsters but also from the privation that has so recently struck them.
Either that, or his lifeless body will feed the dungeon itself.
